Our History

"I am Timea Laskai, a 40-year-old woman whose life has always been intertwined with various sports. At the age of 16, I participated in my first fitness competition, securing the first-place position with my performance. Upon turning 18, I successfully attained my aerobic instructor certificate in Hungary under Bibarch Tunde. My journey in sports and dance led me to explore disciplines such as taekwondo, ballet, hip-hop, modern, and contemporary dance.

In 2011, I discovered my passion for pole fitness, winning my first competition in 2016. That same year, I earned my pole fitness instructor and Aerial Yoga+Fitness certificates in Hungary. In 2017, I finished an advanced training program to become a pole fitness instructor at Paradise Academy. As a result, I was honoured and given the chance to teach at Hungary's biggest academy.

Relocating to Gozo in July 2018, I brought my first pole on a plane from Hungary. Despite initial challenges finding a suitable teaching space, I established myself at Satori Alternative Healing Centre, introducing aerial yoga and developing my unique teaching techniques for aerial fitness and dance.

As I kept growing, I secured a larger studio and happily helped bring pole fitness to the island. My skills in aerial fitness were noticed internationally, and I was invited to compete in the Azul Fest World Championship.

During the pandemic, I motivated my students by participating in online competitions. I was thrilled to see their success when they brought home medals. The following year, we travelled to Hungary for a live competition, where three of my students went on to win more medals. Witnessing their accomplishments on stage alongside highly trained individuals filled me with immense pride."
